What do we aim at?

The purpose of our thematic workshop activity is to understand how to best support public decision-makers and relevant stakeholders in the social sector as far as multi-skills profiles emerging in the social sector. Within the group, the focus will be on exchanging experiences, working methodologies, resources and literature, as well as discussing on different opinions. We will look for answers at the key questions existing in this field, both in and outside Europe.

What issues are we facing?

The main questions we will answer at within the thematic workshop are:

  • What are the key success factors for "white workers" of the twenty-first century?
  • How effective are the actions untaken by decision-makers and public and private social actors to update the profiles?
  • What can be improved and how, as far as the current management system?
  • How can positive actions on the field be adapted and replicated in other European countries?

What are the benefits for you?

Together with you, we'll start looking for answers and asking new questions. We wish to have a pragmatic and friendly approach which will be finalized to learning through a focused experience exchange.

How can you get involved?

If you want to share an experience, if you're looking for some useful information, if you need support or just want to talk to expert from the same field, then join this thematic workshop! Just sign in and leave us a message on the "notice board".

Do you have examples of innovative initiatives on multi-skilling profiles? If so, we can promote your best practices which had a real impact on civil society by creating and disseminating materials.
