From the web page:
“... the study programme addresses the as-yet insufficiently used potential and resources of midwives in the design of care for women and their families.
The first study unit is mainly taught at midwifery schools, combined with three additional modules given by Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. The second study unit takes place on a full-time basis at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. Focal areas include clinical and ethical decision-making, family and client-oriented care provision concepts, advice and health promotion, care structures in the health system and quality management. At the end of the study programme an academic field project, involving scientific findings, is carried out and a Bachelor’s thesis is also written.”
