What do we aim at?

Within the thematic workshop, we aim at enhancing the exchange of information and experiences in the field of methodologies, practices and implemented measures for the upgrading of formal and not formal skills of the social sector professionals.

What issues are we facing?

Within our thematic workshop, we can ask questions, offer resources and contribute to the discussions on topics, such as:

  • evaluation methods of personal formal and informal skills for social sector workers;
  • specific customized pathways to support vocational training and upgrading of skills required by needs of an evolving service sector;
  • reinforce the collaboration in the development of actions and methodologies shared with policy makers and the private social sector.

What are the benefits for you?

Being part of this workshop you will have the opportunity to:

acquire new knowledge and expertise in relation to the new formal and not formal skills required to “white workers”;

receive information, analyze and adapt the new working methodologies in the field of social service management;

develop new partnerships in your area of interest.

How can you get involved?

In order to participate directly in the discussions, the group will post on forum specific questions on the agreed themes. Moreover, in order to stimulate the debate and the exchange of information within the group, specific strategies and concrete methods will be given. In addition, successful experiences of organizations active in the field will be presented and shared.
